Some folks scrapbook, while some video and snap lots of pictures. I prefer to catalog the youth of my children through my sewn and knitted designs. It comes naturally I suppose. For example, after reading Princess & the Pea to my daughter for 3 weeks straight, I deisgned the blanket to preserve that memory. A recent experience with my son reminded me of my younger brother, which inspired me to design Beep Beep. A blanket complete with road maps and parking lots. Each design has a story! I am excited by the response we received over the Fall 2008 collection at market this month. Market favorites: Once again, Princess & the Pea! One of my favorites, the high five'n Chill Man vest worked in intarsia. After 3 snow falls in Alabama this past winter, it was only appropriate to keep the chilly spirit alive and create Chill Man! I had more fun knitting Verra the vagabond and sewing a matching patchwork skirt. Many folks requested an adult version of Verra so I have decided to include a worksheet for big people!
