Whether I am sewing, smocking, knitting, crocheting or even cooking in the kitchen,
I find the greatest pleasure in creating & making things.

This passion began when I was young when I started by making my own dolls, including their clothes.
As I got older & into my school years, I began to design & sew my own 'back to school' wardrobe.
Sad but true, I have a cookbook collection that fills an entire cabinet in my kitchen.
Now a mother of 2, I enjoy the simpler things in life, such as ‘take-out’, ready to wear clothing & knitting for my children.
I am blessed with one of each so my knitting options are endless.

I own and operate a local yarn store. At times it looks like a community center with the large knitting crowds we attract.
Some refer to it as ‘the front porch to the community’. It gives me great pride to be held in that regard.

Inspiration for my designs come from my collection of vintage sewing & knitting patterns as well as my children.
Sometimes, it works out beautifully and sometimes it doesn't.
